Most know me today as a bodybuilder and fitness expert. Before that, I was your average skinny teenager that dealt with bullies and had confidence so low that I couldn't be paid to talk to my crush. One day I decided that I wanted to be strong. I wanted to be admired and respected.
I began to train every day over the summer and gained a noticeable amount of muscle. I returned to school and got exactly what I wanted, but not long after, I realized that my confidence was still dependent on what others thought of me. It was never enough. I continued to train and as time went on, my mindset shifted. The more time I spent in the gym, the more in love I became until nothing else mattered. I was doing it for myself and people's opinions no longer held any weight because I loved who I was becoming.
Ironically, this resulted in the attention that the younger me desired, but at this point, it didn't matter. I loved training so much that I would do it even if I was the last person on Earth and no one was around to see my results. Just a couple of years later, I would compete in and win my first three bodybuilding competitions, earning my pro status.
Now I teach others not only how to train and diet, but the mindset needed to be successful in the long term. Fitness is non-subjective; you truly get back what you put in. My goal is to help anyone who wants to change realize this and lead them along that journey.
